I've read numerous threads on portable power supplies, but those were mostly discussing those small, passport sized batteries meant to charge iPods and PSPs.
What I'm looking for is a portable AC power supply that is good enough to power my 8 lb laptop.
I was thinking along the lines of something like this:
But I'd prefer it to be something that isn't dangerous like a car battery. 10 lbs is fine, because it would be used mainly in the car/bus rides. An AC/DC converter in my car is inadequate (keeps shutting on and off), in case you're wondering.
Is there such a thing? Suggestions appreciated
