did you have a typo and mean $150? or do you really mean <$1500?

UE10 and UE11 are widely considered the best and most expensive IEMs. Cost around $1000 with UE10 being the more neutral sounding.

yeah, wth if you have 1500 bucks to waste go ue10 or 11, if i remember correctly, people said that the ue11's have a more warmer sound over the 10's.

What?! ER4 doesn't satisfy classical music? If you get the APureSound cables 'S', and run it through an amp--the experience is quite extraordinary. The ER4 has the same clarity signature, but with more fullness, soundstage, and bass; Shure black foams also helps.

Don't give up on the Etys yet... plus it'll save you lots of money compared to UE10/11.

If you want something more neutral i say go with the ue-10 and if it is for portable get a nice amp. If you want something with more bass then you can not go wrong with the ue-11. You could get away with getting either and a nice portable amp. What is it that you do not like about the ety's?

Hello everyone. I know that I am being very cheap, but I was looking at MEElectronics Model IEMs and with a max $30 range. I have been looking at the M6, M9, and M31P.

The problem is that I have no way to hear them. My favorite kind of music are film scores with a full orchestra and enjoy deep timpani drums, but not annoying high cymbals unless it's clear. If you can recommend one of the 3 from top based on the kind of preferences that I described or a great alternative that doesn't go much higher than $30, please let me know, I would deeply appreciate it.

Well, I've tried the M31P a few months ago and what I can remember is it was quite mid bass focused and rather punchy a little to mid bass focused.

Another alternative to consider would could be SoundMAGIC E10.

You do realize u exhumed a thread from '08?.......... Its alright.

Would avoid the mee's... I am actually getting the M6 on tuesday to test out but I am not getting my hopes up too much.

I'd try the Monoprice 8230. $7.11 from monoprice.
JVC FXD40 but a bit bass ended but still good for 20 bucks all around.
