Yeah the Super.Fi fives for your pricerange. The Shure's have better bass in the higher end models ex. the SE420 and 530, but those will cost at a minimum 200-300 at least. I've previously owned the Super.fi 5's and loved the sound, I sold them though because I got a lot of money for christmas one year and upgraded to the SE530s.

atrio m5/m8 are the same but just a different color...

i am getting these tommorow i will tell u how i like them. i have never heard the sf5 pro tho

i hope i am not too late to the game. i happen to have not heard the ue phone, so my opinion is limited to denon, atrio, um2, e500 and er4s. i have kept the atrio after selling off some of the others. they do not isolate as well as any of the other iems but sound in my opinion much less fatiguing and overall smoother.

the bass however is what really sticks out to such a good and pleasant degree. it is textured, not just deep and non-boomy. the only thing i do not like about the sound is that it tends to have a plastic sound on some mid or upper mids.

the m8 and m5 are the same phones.

the new victor hp-fx500 are also swiftly becoming a favourite of mine. they are almost the atrio but without the plastic sound. the bass as well is nearly there (better than i have heard in another portable phone) but the soundstage is smaller that i notice at the moment.

cannot say much to not like about them.

of the ones on the list: atrio m5
if i could select others, i would say the hp-fx500 is a great choice as well

Future Sonics.

You're not going to go far wrong with any of your options, but the Atrios will make you glad you gave a little extra effort to get them.
