I rarely see any modern compositions listed so I'm going to go with:

Morton Feldman - For Philip Guston performed by the S.E.M Ensemble

Mesmerizing, hypnotic, challenging, frustrating, confusing all at the same time. Best taken in small chunks (one disc at a time).

Got to be rachmaninoff's third concerto. There's a recording of it with Andre Previn, Vladimir Horowitz, and the London Symphony and its incredible.

I listen to Brahms Piano Concerto 1&2 quite often lately, cool stuff
