How about some GOOD customer service stories for a change? - Page 2

I bought a used Apple laptop on eBay, and after about a year the display flaked out (the subject of a recall). Since there are no Apple stores in my area, they overnighted a pre-paid DHL box for shipment back to them. I sent it off on a Wed. & it was waiting for me when I got home Fri. They even cleaned it up & made it look like new!

Just bought a pair of SR-60s from TTVJ and the way packages are handled here it didn't show up as a valid address, but they've been very helpful with it and very quick with their responses and everything seems to be worked out. I couldn't be happier with them.

We were having dinner at a local restaurant a while back, and we happened to be sitting in the bar area. I was drinking gin and tonic. I finished my first drink, and since our server wasn't nearby, I got up to walk over to the bar for another drink. By the time I got to the bar, maybe 30 seconds, the bartender had another G&T mixed up and waiting. Now, that's what I call service

Head-fI related and in no particular order:-

Headroom, excellent service with good communication.

TTVJ, again excellent service with good communication.

WOO Audio, it took six or seven weeks, but Jack never gave a false date and kept to what he said. There was on hold up of a week or two, but he gave me plenty of notice and ended up delivering earlier than the new date. Always answers email within 24 hours during the working week.

apuresound. Delivered to the date as promised.

cheers
Simon

For Hi-Fi:

First, and foremost, the members at Head-Fi. For the amount of griping, there are lots of good transactions that go unnoticed. Keep it up, everyone!

The companies I've bought from have been great: HeadRoom, TTVJ, Meier Audio, and Eddie Current. (No particular order).

As for everyday stuff, American Express has been good to me and I usually pick up clothes from Martin+Osa, with their unfailingily excellent staff.

Easy. NuForce. One of the headphone jacks was failing on my Mobile, and they sent me a new amp, no questions asked. All I had to do was send back the old one.

I've had a few occasions to call Koss and they never questioned anything. They simply took my information and fixed my problem or sent me replacement parts. Great customer service. I wish more businesses followed their lead.
