I'll plug it in soon. The thickness does not work well with the fact that my PC is in the cupboard...
Edit: wo they weren't lieing about the magnetic field thing! I put it near the side of my desk and it stuck :O

Congrats! Yeah, it will stick to the side of your desk if it has metal sides.
It's a damn good thing my audio card has a breakaway cable. Besides the fact that the cable won't reach my PCI ports without it, it wouldn't plug into the RCA outputs on the card anyway. All the RCA jacks are recessed, and the actual space for each PCI port is only about 5/8". My Cobalt cables barely fit on them. The VD cable ends are much too thick to fit inside the PCI port space.
If you plan on getting a VD digital cable, make sure your sound card is using a breakaway cable or has RCA jacks that are not recessed. Otherwise, you'll end up being disappointed since you will have to use another RCA cable as an adaptor. But I guess that wouldn't be a big deal anyway since the breakaway cable is effectively doing the exact same thing. It is probably of no consequence though, since wiring inside a component is thinner than an RCA cable anyway. The VD cable (or any high-end cable) acts as a line filter.
