WTB: USB DAC/Preamp entry level that can drive amp---> speakers

Hi,

I defer to the great body of knowledge that is head-fi.

i have learned alot about gear in recent years, but cheap USB dac/preamp combos are beyond my knowledge.

Im looking for an all-in-wonder for my friend. He needs a cheap and good solution for his first 2 channel rig.

he is using a Macbook.

Please let me know what you have. I prefer that you have used your dac/preamp combo in a 2 channel system currently.

This is a WTB forum, but i appreciate direction as well as offers.

Two things:

1) You won't get many responses in here. This is a discussion free forum. You would do better to post your question in the computer as source forum, then post a WTB for what you find.

2) The Dared MP5 fits your bill perfectly, and I can't think of anything else that does. Check it out

Thanks, you are right. was hoping for a quick in and out on the for sale boards.

I think this KingRex T20U with the USB could work very well!

I will look into the dared as well.
