Cheap awesome headphone stands!

Now I would imagine that these won't work for all headphones (although with a vice and pair of pliers they might...) but check out what I found as a pretty cool headphone stand.

I've never been a fan of stands that have such a small support point for the headband. Just seems like too much concentrated pressure on a small area. That's why I always build my stands with a relatively wide top that is curved to follow the arc of the headphone band.

I have tried all different towel and banana handlers, wooden and metal; ended up with WooAudio black stands as they are the cleanest and most professionally looking, everything else looks like trash in comparison. Plus they are extremely stable and have the smallest footprint.

I made these. Bought the bracket, stripped the rubber off, then polished the metal a bit with some diamond pads, and they are stainless steel.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I got this weird-angled vase from Ross for like, $6. It works pretty well.

the best stands are no stands. put your headphones in a case when not using them. dust is not their friend.
