The ones I got are black with silver cups, I thought the silver and white ones would get dirty too quickly :S

Love these cans!

These are now my official at work cans, but find myself splitting time with my Grados at home with these as well.

I <3 the soundstage on these.

Just got them in today and with my MisterX XP amp, it is the closest I have ever heard in SQ to the iMod->Tomahawk->RS1 Combo I heard at Chiunify.

I couldn't be more happy with having soundtsgae in a portable. BTW: still love my im716's *silence is golden*

Yeah same here. Seeing as they released the ESW9 only 2 weeks after I bought my ES7 ._. They were just 2x the price here btw.

I just got some ES7s and bent the wires as described which is a big improvement. I find they still clamp a little too firmly. Has anyone done anything else to make them more comfortable (damn I wish they had made them circum-aural!!).

The sound nice straight outta the box, the bass is a tad bloated in my opinion and they are a little too unnatural sounding (mid-range and bass coloration I think) but the highs are very nice. I have downloaded the pink noise, I'll be interested to see if it performs the miracles suggested!

The bass tightens up significantly in just a couple of days. It is bloated and overwhelming out of the box.

I have returned a borrowed pair of ES7 back to its owner. I liked the sound, but it was way too agressive and upfront for casual listening, which caused MS2-ish fatigue issues. Not my cup of tea, my fon for the go has to be smoother.

Fatigue from MS2i came from the weight and its fit for me. I didn't find my ES7s very fatiguing at all.
This is a man who think HD650s are lacking in detail and too smooth.

Hi

Planning to buy the ATH-ES7, but no one sells them here in Norway anymore. I remember they cost like 200$ online from an Norwgian store. So I looked on Amazon.com and there the black cost 100$. My problem is the registration, when I press "General Address tips" it says "Always select "United States" from the drop-down menu regardless of where the recipient is stationed". What to do?
