The FS forums are for selling directly to other Head-Fi members... You can't just link to an eBay auction.

Additionally, how is that even a source component?

Yes, but I am announcing it to people on Head-fi and it is MY sale, not someone elses . Is that not selling to other Head-fi members? Is there a rule on not posting ebay sales is here? Let me know if it is against the rules as I couldn't find it anywhere.

It's for a computer. Please direct all your questions over PM. If you take a look at http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f43/sp...s-only-117625/, you can see that "Computer related and Video Game related items DO meet this criteria."

It's for a computer. Is a computer not a source? And plus if you want to quarrel so much with the rules, there should be no discussion in the FS forum. Please direct all your questions over PM. If you take a look at http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f43/sp...s-only-117625/, you can see that "Computer related and Video Game related items DO meet this criteria."
No, you're not selling it to other Head-Fi members, you're selling it to eBay members.

A video card is not an audio source. Non-audio computer parts belong in the Music/Videos FS/FT sub-forum since there isn't a dedicated Computer FS forum.

This discussion is related to the item for sale, which is allowed.

Edit: You're right, I see that the sticky in this sub-forum says that computer equipment is allowed... It's just more common to see those listings in the Music/Videos FS/FT forum, even though that category title fits even less with those items.

Well if you take a look at, http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f43/sp...s-only-117625/,
here is part of the post,

"Effective Dec. 3, 2002, postings in the Gear for Sale/Trade Forums are limited to items related to audio/video/electronic entertainment/music only.

Computer related and Video Game related items DO meet this criteria."

I don't understand what the problem is with posting a video card on e-bay as there was no rule stating that you can't post ebay postings. Well anyways, if the mods deem that this post breaks the rules, then by all means I hope they remove it. I have scoured all the rules, and I have come to the understanding that I am allowed to post it here.

Also, if I may quote from Jude's post,

"Please stop with the in-thread discussions in the Gear For Sale / Trade forum. Any discussions within sale/trade threads should be related directly to the transaction, and nothing more or less.

If you're not interested in buying or trading the item(s) in the thread, then don't post. If you're wondering whether or not you should post a comment or opinion in a sale/trade thread, you probably should not. If you want to know why a person is selling something, PM (private message) or e-mail them. If you think a sale is crooked or smells funny, report it.

Thanks.

-- Jude --"

Was I wrong in saying there is no reason for discussion? Neither of you are interested in buying are you?

I honestly don't want to quibble about these little things, but those were the rules that I read, and I made my own judgement. Hopefully people can see that there's an awesome cheap video card on sale for those who just want to build a cheap computer for whatever use they need it for.
