They've ruined it for a lot of small time bloggers trying to get press credentials. A wall of monitors might have been funny... but during a presentation? Not very funny at all. I guarantee there will be a lot of IRs covered with tape next year.

I hope they get sued. They could very well have cost Motorola and a few of the other victim companies some investments and profits. Idiotic, I hope Gizmodo is at least blacklisted from events like that.

If you don't play by the rules, don't expect to be greeted with kindness in the consumer electronics world...

Really sad to have to get attention in this manner. I agree with what everyone has said about the childishness and disruptive nature of this act.

Were he to have clicked off a few TVs and random and then clicked them right back on and had a few laughs about it with some friends, that would be another matter. But this was all about the "look at me" aspect as clearly reflected in their little pride story on their site. Disgusting.
