Stunned as in you were sitting there helpless and comatose with your tongue partially hanging out and eyes crossed or as in losing all control and flopping around on the floor? I just was wondering if I was the only one to have gone through this.

Does the XM5 is modular design? I mean if the amp (PCB) section is independent with DAC (PCB) and socketed connection. For the Xfeed section, its clearly seen on the pics that its a module indeed.

Im just wondering that Practical Devices could release a DAC module in the future packed with TI line of dac chip.

Is it possible to upgrade the DAC in something like this? There must be a reason that not everyone is using the 24/96 DACs in portable amps, but thought I'd ask.

I have also wondered if it's possible to replace the DAC in the XM5. The C-Media chip is not known for it's quality..

Thanks for that, Matt. I haven't gotten any feedback on the question about swapping DACs, so I'll have to take a look and see if it's possible on my own.
