If they do sound like the majority of this community is probably expecting them to, at least their appearance is socially acceptable, which is pretty rare among high-end full-sized headphones in our neck of the woods.

I'm actually interested to hear these "Beats" just to hear what Dr Dre considers to be good sound

I don't think he had anything to do with the design but if he did than its going to be very personalized. I believe they will sound good to a specific group of people with a certain taste of sound
