Elnero you have the new ports. Only a few people had the first design. Unfortunately those included a few media reviewers who shall remain nameless.

What ports did you send with the new treble tubes?

So actually the "treble++" ports don't have more treble than the older "treble+", but have better treble? Am I understanding right?

Wow, modular phone can really generate some confusion in the early going.

Anyway, I got my black treble++ tubes today, and they are in and working. Sound fine, but it's tough for me to tell how they compare to the original treble+ tubes, since I have to exchange them to listen. One thing I noticed, the black tubes slide in and out of the driver body very, very easily compared to the gray posts. They don't really lock in. So I have to be careful removing them from my ears. A potential issue if I take them out and am not paying attention. I suppose they could fall onto the floor or something. Odds are, they will at least stay stuck in the sleeves, so they will be in my ears. Hasn't happened yet.

Anyway, the SA6s still sound great. Despite the treble tube/bass module confusion. Now I need a way to do a "quick swap" so I can compare the two treble tubes. Or, maybe I will just relax and listen instead. They both sound great.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have received the new ports and they will be included with all future orders from now on.

If you have already received your order from us, send me an email and we will get the new ports out.

Everyone on this site has the current ports. For that matter everyone that has ever ordered an SA6 has the current ports. We added the black extended treble tips only because we could see the need and soon everyone will have those The original + bass or (++ bass) that people talk about only went to one person on this site and he has the corrected version. These were sent out early on and changed before any vendors picked up the product. Essentially only Kees, Jude, and a handful of media received those.

The VQ system is really very simple. 3 bass ports - , =, + and 4 treble tips.
-, =, + and The Extended + Black Tip.

Wait till wireless, various cable sizes, new models, and customs come out..... then we will all need a cheat sheet and two tylenol.

How soon until some of these goals are realized?

Jason, when are the new models coming and how will they compare to SA6s? Was going to order SA6s in few days, but should i wait for the new models?
I haven't read anything about filters with these, do they have any?
Customs and Wireless are the main focus at this point. The other models will be later. The SA6 is our flagship and it will remain that way for quite a while since essentially you are purchasing 12 models with the 3 bass ports and 4 treble tips. We really do not want to give dates at this point or to much info.......I guess you'll have to show up to CanJam and see/hear.

Do you plan on making more ports for the SA6? It would be beautiful to know you are going to improve them further. It's like a continuous support the buyer will receive after having purchased them.

Also, do you have a price in mind for your customs?
Thanks.

Well, thank you Ishmael from Parcelforce for calling to tell me my headphones were finally registered with the network. He was really helpful, unlike his colleague, who insisted my headphones had not yet left the US! He even said I'd been 'misinformed' about them arriving in the UK on 23rd??

EDIT: Today, 29th Feb - they're 'out for delivery' so they'll get here today. Can't wait!

Thanks Jason, I think it's all clear now.

I can't wait to try them. Need to sell some stuff first
