How to integrate Phones into Stereo System

OK, so, in the past, I was a headphone listener only and had some decent setups; Cary 300SEI w/ AKG K1000, etc.

The last few years I've had speaker systems but now want to integrate headphone listening capability. I really like my system and would like to hear it through headphones but am not sure of the best way to do it.

Actually, I do; get another pair of K1000s but, I think that would be hard to do ($$).

So, is there another way? Currently none of my components have a 1/4" jack.

thanx for reading this

Well you can get Stax adapter like SRD-7 and run the Stax phones of the adapter and speaker cables will just path through. Here is an example:

If they have a tape loop (or multizone output), just plug a headphone amp into that.

Oh, i didn't get what you meant at first. Take a look at moon audio's offerings. They offer a k1000 (4-pin XLR) to 1/4" cable.

x2 on the Stax headphone with a suitable energizer box.
Example an SRD-7 and SR-Lambda...
