Hi, tea-head. Welcome to head-fi.

You might get a better response if you post this in the amp section. Take a look around there and also do a search in the meet impressions threads in the meets forum. As they are both just starting to get in folks' hands, there haven't been any in-depth comparisons, but a lot of head-fiers have heard both, mostly at meets, and posted first impressions.

Oh, thank god. I kept going out to the amp section and back. I did that about 5 times like some real mental problems were setting in. I mean maybe I already have some but not ones of . . . . . well you know, where I am? What am I? Where am I? Ok, I'm back.

I am sure there will be many comparisons in the headphone section, I mean the amp section, right here, right??

OOPS!

Sorry guys and gals...I posted in Lounge and was moved here. I will try the search in meets, thanks. I know the amps are just getting out. I have read some impressions...just hoping someone will have heard both and reply...I am on the fence (but on the Pico list). Anyone care to go out on a limb for a newbie???

if you haven't read it here's just one head-fier's opinion and yes he has not only listened to both, but bought both and returned one...

Let me just add, that this is my opinion, and my ears telling me this One ultimately has to judge these things for themselves, although I do have golden ears LOL

At this point in time, I'd say sell it on HF for very little loss. The Pico has a line, and the Predator's preorder price won't (didn't?) last. Don't want to turn this into an argument because there's already another topic dedicated to that thing, but just wanted to get this out. Consider the loss a "test drive" cost.

That's what the companies with the free return policy do...

It will be a while before there are a number of good comparisons out there anyway.

buy and return...

well...after $7K on tube/speaker gear this past year, the well is gettin' dry...now this headphone thing...anyone know where I can get a money tree or maybe a printing press? (probably a hidef xerox now...)
