What sub should I get?

Well I've talked myself into buying a decent bookshelf speaker+sub setup this boxing day. Don't worry I bought PK2's just a few days ago too. I'm upgrading from the Edifier S2.1D budget set, which is pretty good but I listen a lot on speakers so I thought I could spend a little extra. I think I've found what I wanted for speakers in the Polk RTi's (site) either the 2008 RTiA3 or this year's RTi4, the only difference seems to be that the A3 is 6-1/2" and the RTi4 is 5-1/4", would that make much difference? I don't need them all that loud, it's for a bedroom setup atm. Then I figured I ought to get a receiver too, since it'd be a waste to be running good speakers and sub off my motherboard or Chaintech's surround ports, and I really want the Denon DRA-37 even though the price kind of sucks at my store there. And so the question then is which sub..

Hsu STF-1 $280 shipped
Polk PSW505 $300
Velodyne DPS-12B $300

Loudness doesn't matter much to me, I'm sure they'll all be loud enough, I want the best sound quality. Though I've heard good things about Hsu, the other ones are really marked down, I've heard good things about Velo subs so that's probably what I'm especially looking at right now. Just want some input from others

Thanks

I say save your money and get this baby. It is worth every single penny! Musical and great for movies as well.

SVSound - Box Subwoofers My friend bought this recently for somewhere between $300-400 (can't remember). He says he looked at reviews and it was the best in the price range. I've listened to it and it does what a sub should do. It doesn't have a built in crossover though so you'd have to make sure you can take care of that with your receiver or whatever.

Yup SVS is killer. I bought the package I linked earlier and it rocks the house. Make sure you go through Sonicboomaudio which is SVS's official Canadian distributor.
