1: I dont want an iphone, so i dont care if i cant get one locally. Its crap
2: Yeah stuff is more expensive, and most of the time the two even out. I didnt say stuff was the same price, i said we make more money than you, and we do that. Also, noteverythign is as expensive as to make of for the salery difference, and we can also import stuff.
3: There are internet tablets with 4,2" screens, thats not that much bigger than the iphone. Actually its this much bigger. Ill gladly drag that extra size around if it means a keyboard, screen resolution big enough to actually read websites without some zoom function, and the fact that its a full blown LINUX computer. If i want something ultra portable the iphone surely doesnt count as that anyways, so i might as well go with something thats actually useful and not a novelty.

I do hope Norway makes more money then me. As good as my income is it would be hard to run a country on it. When you import stuff you most likely have a to pay a large tax. I would guess it would be at least 25% and possibly more. So the irony is that stuff in europe is so expensive that it makes sense to buy from the USA pay ~25% (or more)TAX and you will still come out ahead rather then buying locally. So yes I would say stuff is expensive indeed.

Also as far as the make more money then North American countries means you were probably looking at some statistics without fully understanding the complexity of such statements. North American countries are FAR larger then Norway with far larger populations and much larger diversity of people. This size disparity helps a lot to achieve Norway's very high statistic standards.

For example do you understand there are far more rich people in USA or Canada then in Norway?

Anyway I think you should stop making seem yourself ignorant and brining up Norway as a reason why you *think* you make more money then me based on average income statistics.

See the problem is you most likely have never used an iPhone and have no idea what you are talking about. I on the other hand used an n810 and I do not find it convenient. If I want to carry around another device that is not a phone I would rather take an ultra portable PC with a good amount of CPU power and RAM and ability to run anything I want (as linux on ARM as the n810 does). And the n810 interface is still suffering same problems any other device would suffer. The need to use a stylus and both hands to operate.
It is obvious you've used an iPhone for all of 30 secs if ever without actually living with one for any amount of time. But you do hate it well.
There is also cost issue. an iPhone is cheaper then an n810 + Phone. And of course there is no need to carry two devices. Anyway there is no need for me to convince you since you clearly have little experience with the iPhone and are about as hateful of it as you can get.


This again shows your insignificant to none-existent experience with the device. iPhone is very useful and not a novelty. The n810 is a novelty indeed. It serves very little purpose in a very inconvenient device.

I stated my reasons for not liking YP-P2 (i actually owned the device at one time so I do know what I am talking about). Since then it managed to devolve into this mostly by me repying to people who really hate the iTouch and are rather fact less about their accusations of it.

I can't say "sigsegwhateverhisnameis" has actually said anything which could put someone off getting a P2, I mean other than his annoying habit of repeating, unnecessarily, what he has already said (over and over, and over) which goes something along the lines of "Wooohooo iPod YeaH!!!! So I was playing with the P2 today, it's quite a bit smaller than the touch (I sold my touch because I felt it was too big to be dedicated DAP@16gb and too small to be a dedicated movie/web browser) so i'm somewhat intrigued by what else it can do.

I'm not too sure about the GUI, it looks quite good though and seems quite responsive, so it must be a personal thing...

Should I get one...

Again this is a silly notion that apple is any different about repairs from other manufactures. My personal experience with apple has been great so far. They replaced my almost dead macbook battery for free. I washed my iPod Nano in my jeans at one point and it started behaving weirdly. Brought it to apple store and said it 'it broke' I omitted 'washed in the washing machine' part naturally. They inspected it and replaced it. So I have no problems with apple warranty by your standard any large company is 'fecked'. Apple's track record is about the same as any large electronics maker. Possibly a little better.

Everyone can do whatever they like on the internet personal choice is always respected. I didn't say any one owning a P2 is non-human I simply stated my reasons why I think iPhone or the touch is a better device.

I have one, I can run a test for you guys if you want me too and cannot find any info elsewhere, I will test by playing all my music with headphones connected at half volume with bluetooth off, and then with it on.
