I can't believe this was an actual pic. What was the Sennheiser production team smoking?

That thing ranks up there with the ultimate in fugly headphones. I think the designers of the Surrounder got a hold of them.

The "Chinese" pic must've been the prototype or something. The actual 800s don't look too bad. It definitely looks to have some serious acoustical advantages. Haven't read the review yet (http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/sen...review-398829/) but just from that pic, it looks like it an improvement over hd650, k701, sa5000, and qualia design for sound anyway. That unique cone material looks interesting.
