There is no worry as tubes are designed with the correct materials or they would fail in short order. I have tubes from the mid 1920's that are still fine and out of my 1000's of tubes I have had maybe 4 or 5 that turned up with the getter white and they probably got that way in the box shortly after manufacture. Even glass will leak over time (I read about this years ago from a person who worked in the field) so while the vacuum is safe for quite some time, factors like the thickness of glass and original quality of the vacuum factor in.

I personally don't think that the process is worth it for tubes and even if it is what does it give you.. Longevity,
Better sound ? I have some cryo tubes and never noticed a difference compared to the same tubes without cryo
