Photo-frame for reading comics

I want to buy a good quality photo-frame and adopt it to read comics and books.
As you know, a page is longer in vertical than horizontal, while a frame extends more in horizontal. I'd like a frame which lets me go up and down in the same page, with a lag as shirt as possible (msec).
This is a funny Christmas present for a friend who loves comics.

i thought all photo displays are in the same aspect ratio so that they're optimized for pictures, not comics. hmmm...

this is sort of related, but if you want to read comics on a computer, i recommend using the program cdisplay. it's freeware and works pretty well.

Wow this is an amazing idea. Did you ever find a decent digital frame that did this?

Wasn't that in the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks? Depending on size, they run from $20 pocket ones to $100+ 12-15 inch models. At least at TigerDirect
