i do own shure and try e4c from my co-worker the sound pretty good (i would say triple fi is more close to e4c then SF5 with a better/clear bass). as for e5c if their cable work like westone and UE (swipe able) i would buy it in heart beat. it just my ec2 cable problem leave me a very bad impression.

but i would think about it since the CM under 500$ seems dont work too well on me.

Mp3 vbr V0 has the best sound quality/size ratio.
You might want to upgrade your amp, since a GoVibe V5 is not that great.
Most important, try to mod a pair of Shure black foamies. Remove the inner plastic tube, then take a pair of UE foam tips and take the foam away. Use the UE plastic tubes and superglue the Shure black foams on them. Done? You have just adapted the shure olive foamies for your Triples, and will never lose the seal again. If this bless doesn't apply to you, you may consider selling your Triple fi to me, as they sound so good I could get a spare pair.

what amp do you guys recommand?? i like large sound stage and nice smooth bass. under 200$ would be even better! desktop if possible, portable if necessary.

think i will try out different amp.. if i dont like it i can always resell with little discount.
