do Shure or Comply foam tips fit q-JAYS? if mod required, easier/harder than to fit on Super.Fi?

I'm considering the q-JAYS for a "reasonably" priced IEM for the gym. The small form factor, and reviews pointing to an "ety + bass" type sound signature, are the main selling points to me. However, I understand that no foam tips ship with these, nor are any yet available from JAYS. I did see that someone fit the Ety flange tips on, and I thought that Ety/Shure were interchangable, yet I recall reading somewhere that the Shure foam tips don't just fit on these...

So, what is the experience so far with getting foam tips to fit on the q-JAYS? Is the JAYS stem less big than on the Super.Fi, making any necessary "stretching" of the plastic tube of the foam tip easier than for the SFs?

Thanks for your help,
Phil

The stem of the q-JAYS is pretty big, so most stock tips won't fit. I suppose if you cut out the tubes of any of the tips that fit the E500/SE530/UM2/etc., it may fit, but I never tried that.

I'm not sure if the E2c tips will fit without modding them.

Are you already set on using foam tips? I found that the stock silicone tips worked perfectly fine when I had them. There is a large variety of sizes so it's not difficult to find the right size for your ear canals.

JAYS is currently testing foam tips and I've been told that they will be included with the q-JAYS in the future (when they're ready).
