UE eartips vs Sony eartips (differences?)

hi sorry to bother once again.

just curious about differences between the Ultimate ears silicon tips and the Sony ex71 eartips?

i want to order the UE universal kit which containts a bunch of single flanges, but if they are quite similar to the Sony ex71 tips, then i won't bother.

thanks!

The UE tips are thicker than the EX71 tips, if I remember correctly, and isolate more. Also, the UE tips are larger in general.

are they worth trying?

i find the sonys really really comfortable although isolation is just a bit lacking.

Need this one revisited...I have located my old pair of Sony EX-082 IEMs and it has the small tips on them which are too small for me, I would need medium. Will UE tips fit the Sony's? I want to try the UE double flange (single ones will also do I guess) as they would isolate more, but need to ensure they would fit the Sony's nozzle. Thanks!!!

Thanks! Lucky I didn't put an order for the UE tips in! Would you know which tips would fit the Sony's? I am unable to purchase the actual Sony ones which is why I need to resort to other brands.

UE tips are thicker. This provides better defined bass and less comfort.

Size differences are not that big. UE double-flange are useless due to bad fit (for me, of course).
