NO!!!! I loved the gold. I used them to decide on red faceplates. I'll see if they have any sitting around.

The unbling looks pretty nice to me! But so does the gold...decisions decisions...

Keep the gold!

They should have silver/chrome bling as an option I reckon....very nice with a black faceplate.

Oh my that looks great.

I think we all should contact EarPeace and recommend them design a three-way triple driver custom IEM.

- Pick-up a bottle of Brass Black.
- Mask the connection that inserts into the IEM and where the cable meets the connector, as shown in the previous poster's images.
- Lightly apply the solution with a q-tip or other applicator and let dry.
- Apply until the level of blackness is achieved.

You're done.
Should this definitely be permanent? (i.e. no flaking or anything whatsoever over time?)

I'm considering that as well, though I think I like the LiveWires' design better with the detachable braided cable. The detachable design seems better for the long run and the braided cable is lightweight and is less susceptible to microphonics.

Then again, the SuperFreQ wins in both price and value as you do get a triple-driver design for less cost.

Ugh I should just start my own custom IEM company and design a custom earphone that has 3 drivers, a 3-way crossover, braided detachable cable with black or chrome connectors, and take the market by storm.

Yeah they are probably exactly the same as I believe "electrodomesticos" translates to "appliance" or something related.

I've always wondered...is there a difference in sound quality among the triple driver IEMs? The way people talk around here, they make it sound like it isn't. I am not saying you persay Peter...but in general I get that tone from people...they say, "It has 3 drivers!" Can you have a triple driver that sounds bad? Or a dual driver that sounds as good as a triple driver?

Any thoughts professional head-fi people?

Oh and I forgot to say.... 500th post whooohooo!

It's not so much if it sounds good but if it can cover all frequencies of the spectrum. In theory a single driver could sound better than a triple driver...I think

(congrats on the 500th post. I'm at 200...woohoo?)

Peter: Yes, it is permanent. I have used it on lots of brass and it holds up very well. Knife and gun parts (which I carry every day) look just fine.

Since you should not be removing the the IEMs by the plugs anyway, they'll hold up even better.

You are probably right, think about ER4S/P, it sounds really good with just one driver. Sadly, only multi-driver iem I can compare it to is SF5, but I think ER4 wins clearly.
