one of the greatest regrets of my life was buying it. It's lying in a drawer at home doing nothing. Very sub-par sound quality. I listen to Metal and Progressive and Beo2 / Beo 6 are so not suitable. It's a luxury item. That's all.

Right, being someone who is a multimedia nut like myself, Data loss cannot be restored when it happens during compression. 

 

Agreed,  B&O is claiming the impossible.  

 

It might sound great but you cannot justify spending $600 for it, bottom line.  

 

 I can if I may compare the BS 6 to the new Ipod Touch 4G running FLAC.  Ipod 4G won when I was running flac on it. 

 

 I can't help wonder if there was a clue to B&Os new name BS 6.
