I've been waiting for the day when a product will come to market that will make me buy another piece of gear. This may be it.
Hunter's book (you really must read it to understand the movie) is funnier, and on an entirely different level, for me as Las Vegas is my home town. In 1973, when HST was roaring through town in that big red caddy, I was living in North Las Vegas, or, what HST said "..what America would look like if the Nazis won the war."
There is a particularly poignant paragraph about the culture of the time that ends with something to the effect of: "If you are looking west over the valley at the mountains on the other side, you can just make out the high water mark"
Great book, great write.
I'd really like to see a movie made of "The Curse Of Lono"...
