By the way, how come no one has thought of rolling opamps in the headphone amp board? It seems like there are two socketed NE5532 in there. One seems to be for the headphone amp itself (to add gain); the other quite probably for the pre out of the DAC (when activated), as a buffer after the volume pot.
Me, I'm playing with the idea of putting in something like the LT1361, LT1364, LT1469, AD8599, LME49720, AD746, AD8620, OPA2107... |
