Where to spend the money?

I just got my HD600 and have been looking at the cables. Man they are expensive. I know source upgrade is where most would recommend spending the money. But on the subject of cables would you spend money on interconnects first and then headphone cable?

When I was building a 2-channel speaker-based system speaker cable seemed to have the biggest impact among cabling. I suppose you could look at the headphone cable in the same light.

I upgraded the interconnects in my headphone rig first only because the difference in price between what I could sell the old ones for and get new ones was far less than the cost of the Cardas headphone cable.

Not knowing what kind of cables you currently have its difficult to give advice for your particular situation. If you already have good interconnects then upgrading them might not yield as much of a benefit as getting a new headphone cable.
