That's right, the sooner you realize that spamming and rambling won't get you anywhere in this thread the more chance I have at getting some good ideas. Good boy, thumbs up.

*** First..look up "spam". That term has ZERO relevance here. Let me help: Spam: commercial message posted on a computer network or sent as e-mail. I didn't see any commercial ads attached to anyone's posts...did you?

Why am I responding? I'm waiting on a render and have nothing better to do.

Here's a news flash for you. You have offended several of the most respected, experienced and knowledgeable head fi members (i'm not included in that group btw), so I'm guessing your chances of "getting ideas" from those members of headfi.org at this point are pretty slim...as in ZERO. Several tried to gently hint at your offending behavior. You were oblivious to that. So, *against my better judgement*, I brought out a sledge hammer. Nope....still clueless. Your response? Taking the thread to a new level in absurdity. (I'll take some responsibility for provocation though.)

from another post, Von wrote: "It's simply a matter of choice and I was not content with the choices presented to me."

Von...if that were the only issue here, there would *not be an issue*...and people would probably still be offering some alternatives for you to consider. Yeah, they really are that nice!

Solution? You could try apologizing to folks via pm, but "that's complicated and you like simple".

Btw Von...You have FAR more serious issues than choosing an amp.

It seems you also don't have a life besides a brain. You keep spamming and trolling this thread with embarrassing, childish and illogical (besides ill-formulated and poorly written) ramblings and accusations, probably hoping you'll get noticed and accepted as one of 'their own'. Who is 'they' I have no idea as there are many users and 'circles' here, most of which are well balanced and well intended individuals who are not looking for 'followers' or back-kissing. It must be a bad habit you acquired somewhere else.

I'm done arguing with pointless people such as yourself. It's a waste of my time and an increase of attention you do not deserve, even for making fun (it's usually rude to make fun of those with disabilities).

Those who wish to make further recommendations can do so here or in private (if the prospect of appearing to cross one of 'the elders' is so inconvenient).

Hi MaloS...

ok...I'll keep going. At some point, this thread will truly die as it deserves. Then again, I am keeing it alive.

Hopefully a moderator will see this "train wreck" of a thread and close it!

This is from **the Wiki link Von Soundcard provided** to defend his use of the term spam.
"spamming" : "Spamming is the abuse of electronic messaging systems to indiscriminately send unsolicited bulk messages. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs, wiki spam, mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam and junk fax transmissions."

MaloS...please help me understand how people expressing an opinion on various amps fits the description above...or...the definition you provided centered around the word "especially".

Is it your position that any message that is simply "disruptive" is spam??

If you feel Von Soundcard's use of the term "spam" is correct and I am wrong, then please see below.

IMO...Von solicited responses by starting the thread....so the "unsolicited" qualifier is out. The responses were directed to him personally, so they weren't indiscriminately posted either. I see no evidence of the same post appearing in various threads, so again the posts do not fit the terms "indiscriminately" or "bulk" .

Please show me an example of indiscriminately or unsolicited or bulk messages in this thread.

Please show me an example of a commercial message in this thread.

Are any of the posters employed by the amp companies mentioned in their posts?

If you simply seek examples of "abuse of electronic messaging systems" in this thread, well.... that's easy.

Can you imagine this guy working for a high-end dealer ?
I mean it's true, the dealers I've met weren't all the nicest people, some were even slightly manic and a few really couldn't hear a high-end speaker system from an old car radio but... this guy is in a league if his own (respekt !)

Also, I used to think this forum needed a more focused and involved moderation for cases of severe off-topic, hijacking, trolling and other phenomena. Now I think it needs more an IQ test as well as a sobriety check before registering.
