I loved my G5.5 U2 edition ipod, but the battery is starting to die.. and apple makes you pay sooo much for a battery replacement... so i bought a ipod classic off ebay.
THe silver back on the black ipod classic.... with all thte minimalists at apple's design department, i cant believe they never though of using the U2 black cover type finish on the chromed back.
so i swat the back of the classic with my beloved U2
... here's the result:
the new metal faceplate made it almost impossible to open the ipod up... i ended up jsut ripping it off with a wrench
i think i'll post a picture of that destroyed back plate when i have a chance
