All I have to say is that their awesome pair of headphones. Great sound stage, vocals are a bit too strong, you can feel the bass other than hearing it, and great for movies. Comfort is 4.5...

I know people bash on Bose because of they're over priced and I agree. I believe these retail for about $150 or so and I paid $85 for these due to employee discount at where I work. With that...

Do you know which Alps pot it has? I thought all current HeadRoom Max amps came with stepped attenuator (unless upgraded to really expensive Alps RK50 pot) but I could be mistaken.
Assuming it comes with Alps RK50 pot upgrade, which would make the retail around $4000 with Max DAC, $2500 is more than a fair price, IMO - provided, of course, that there are no cosmetic or functional issues with the amp.

I've seen lower configurations go for more. Seems fair. Although, I don't know if the Maxxed out max is really worth much more than the maxxed out desktop. Supposedly they sound about the same, and the Desktop is much smaller and much less expensive.
yeah it's the rK50 configuration. basically fully loaded. anyword on how the DAC is?
