And they seemed to be highly uncomfortable. Even more than my MS1's! And I thought the skullcandy brand was about Style and Comfort. Guess its just about horrid style now.

(It was my friend's.. He also has a pair of er6i's, but I dont know why he has the skullcandies)

Thanks for telling us about your experience with Skullcandy's! Your findings will be highly instrumental in supporting our hi-fist purchases, since we are all considering to buy a Skullcandy headphone to meet our audiophilic needs!

No, it's about the horrid sound quality, too.

May I suggest something? I found out that the Skullcandy Ripoff V1 was much better than the Skullcandy Crazystylemegacans. This should be your first priority purchase!

Skullcandies target a specific group, the young teenage bass heads. Eventually these people will grow out of their bass fascination and come to enjoy other audible frequencies. Perhaps then, they will turn away from Skullcandies in favor of something more "refined".

I used to know a musician in school who wore skullcady headphones frequently. I guess ignorance is bliss.

Agreed, they must be doing something right (even if it isn't SQ and they look horrid to everyone on head-fi), since they are selling.

My roommate walked in saying 'SKULLCANDY IS DELICIOUS!!!' I told him that they suck. He tried to claim that the bass was good though...which got immediately shut down by saying 'its all quantity, not quality' The look on his face was along of the lines of 'I know he is right...but I just paid for these things...'
