If you start up a public criticism of a review saying "Sorry you didn't get it", you better back up your claims. Otherwise you are just trolling or under a patronizing complex.

Listen why would you think a film (and book) that speaks that widely on near-metaphysical (but in reverse
) choices and that nearly every characters actions always has the same result (I won't give spoilers here) and is sprinkled the dialogue like "the point is there is no point" would the creators have a title that simply references "some criminals are just way too sick for old wise men to handle"? It's both more literal and far more reaching than that. It both means America and after death - No Country. And that point hits even further home when the story is (as you've criticized) traditionally unresolved. Consequences are both tragic and non-existent. That's not an accidental or an unwise choice by either the Coens or especially McCarthy. And that fact that you missed that (again as many, including professional critics, have) is not surprising. It's no big deal. Seriously. But it doesn't mean you're not wrong.Feel free to have the last word.
