Overrated by its fans.

Nah, it's overrated by people who don't appreciate it, but not by its fans.

It wasn't even close, but worth a watch if you watch most of the newer releases...

I completely agree, except for the Grapes of Wrath part as I have never seen it.

I did find the movie a bit slow at parts, but I absolutely loved the subtle humor in this movie. I thought the "how long did it take you to get here part" pretty funny, and how they kept that as a running joke through out the movie.

Anyways watched these as well

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters 4/10- I know its just a kid/teenager movie, but it still could be better than this. It still drives me nuts that a movie based around Greek/Roman mythology gets mythology wrong. On top of that they always make certain gods appear bad which they really were not in mythology.

Argo 8/10- I thought it was well done. After reading some of the fact vs fiction some of the movie really bugs me. Some of the worst parts of the movie could have been easily removed to make a better non average movie. Still the whole story is interesting. I think it could have been a lot better than it was.

Thor The Dark World 7.5/10- I thought this was decent as I disliked the first one. The only thing that has been really bugging me is that Marvel stories are starting to feel a bit formulaic. Though it is probably, because of the comics. However I think they are still making X-Men refreshing. I am kinda excited to see Guardians of the Galaxy despite never reading a single comic.

Had to abort this one about 20 min into the film. As much as I've been a Vince Vaughn fan since Swingers, this was obviously another Hollywood shot-for-shot remake of a superior foreign film. If this one is of any interest, just see the French-Canadian original, "Starbuck".

"Delivery Man" - aborted/10

So, as it turns out, I ended up having an opportunity to see a film I've been very excited about - the latest Jim Jarmusch offering. I took to Jarmusch like I took to Magnepan speakers and Eva Mendes...love at first sight. I've always just been fascinated by this guy's style. So when I heard he was going to tackle vampires, I was even more intrigued than usual. And talk about amazing casting...Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt...toss in a few younger up and comers in Anton Yelchin and Mia Wasikowska. I savored every minute and my initial reaction is that this is one of Jarmusch's best and also one of my favorites.

"Only Lovers Left Alive" - 9.2/10

Just because I'm a fan of something doesn't necessarily mean I'm overrating it...it's just different perspectives and different preferences. I may place a higher value on it than you do, and vice versa.

It means you are overrating it for a person who isn´t a fan and doesn´t like it ;)

I wish that I would have mentioned the snippets of humor throughout the film. There were definitely a few of those quotable lines that you wish you could remember in your own life when the time is right!

"The Reluctant Fundamentalist" - 8/10

Interesting perspective of the world during the pre/post 9/11 from the mind of the eastern protagonist.

True dat. For an example, I'm a fan of Mortal Instruments novel series. But I rated the movie low because frankly, it's just bad.

That's untrue, he was absolutely fantastic in From Dusk Till Dawn.
