House of Cards Season 2 7/10

I bit disappointed after the awesome first season. I don´t like what they do to the main characters :(

I'm not sure why I'm browsing head-fi while in a semi drunken stupor on bourbon street in new orleans during mardi gras, but i had to stop and vehemently disagree with your opinion. I used to think breaking bad was untouchable, but Kevin Spacey gives life to F.U. In a way that no one else can. House of Cards is simply the best show on tv. The only fault is that all the new episodes in a season are available instantly, destroying productivity and prolonging the agonizing wait for the next season.

Back to drunken debauchery!

I must be the only one here who doesn't watch TV...

I finally found a show I love and it turns out it's a british TV show called "Doc Martin". I ended up watching all seasons.

It's too bad I have to wait until 2015 to see Season 7!

LOL the last series I watched regularly was MacGuyver in the 90s and "Whale Wars". So not since I was 13 or so and i'm now 34.

My mom is currently addicted to old Andy Griffith Shows. She's wanting me to order her Season 8 with my Amazon Prime account.

Oh yeah.. i forgot! I got into "The Jack Benny Program" lately too! Possibly some of the funniest material i've ever seen..

I had gone years without really watching but one or two tv shows...I've always been mostly a movies/sports guy. But over the last few years in particular I've been very impressed by what I've come across. If nothing else, you should give the first six episodes of Breaking Bad a viewing and see if it sucks you in like so many of the rest of us.

I don´t understand you. series should be watched in a marathon from start to finish so you don´t get this crappy 1 week wait and when you get them they are destroyed by commercials!

Kevin Spacey is great that is one frustration what they did with him. I mean he has never been a good guy but in Season 1 you could cheer for him nonetheless! In season 2 he is the devil impersonated together with his devil wife.

I agree...in Season 1 there was still room for redemption. Not that he would have ever sought it, but you couldn't really put his character in a box. But in season 2 they pushed him over the edge and you couldn't look at him the same way. To me, the character became less fun and less interesting, and as you said, it's not really something you could root for anymore.

Gravity - 9

Gravity is a reference work on the technical aspect gifted with appreciable cinematic sensibility of Alfonso Cuarón.

As good as the best pure entertainment in cinema nowadays, it's a simple movie easily likable for the sheer sensorial experience, but with good conceptual nuance and wittiness.

An engaging, frenetic and thrilling dance in the tremendous abyss of space filled with metaphors and symbolisms for Life (which anyone takes seriously/interprets as judged).

Very good acting from Sandra Bullock, I enjoyed the character development of Ryan, some melodramatic moments seemed superfluous to me and distracted.

I watched in 2D and still felt immersed in the adventure and assimilated the premisses.

I have some doubts about the replay value, after the first view I didn't feel the impetus to re-watch, Gravity entertains while it lasts and it's very clear... maybe too clear, it lacks the mysterious or transcendental factor to addict me, probably it's markedly popular and accessible nature limits it in my eyes...

In any case, I think Gravity will become a classic of contemporary cinema because it's an hallmark of technical mastery and it's "... one hell of a ride" like nothing else.

Maybe it's because i'm a Shakespeare fan, but I love the parallels to Macbeth. You may as well add your criticisms to Walter White when he fully embraced his Heisenberg alter ego, when he poisoned that kid, and when he went into full kingpin mode. It took a humbling experience for him to become likeable again.

Relax, the series isn't over. I personally love his wilyness.

Last movie The reluctant fundamentalist 8/10.

In Secret (2013): 5/10

Strong casting and fine performances are the best thing this film's got going for it--it lacks the necessary twistiness, thoughtful moralizing, or mystery that this film's lust-driven murder plot requires.

Clue: 10/10

A friend bet me that I didn't like Clue enough to watch it nonstop for all of February. I watched Clue over 115 times in 28 days. It's March 3rd and... I'm still watching it at least once a day because it's kinda comforting now.

I am in no way joking, for the record. Dude had me send photos of me watching it with the date visible on my laptop.

King Arthur.

Initially this wasn´t that bad but then oh god yet another just a bit to dramatic face from Kiera. But I did enjoy the fun they had with the helpless princess to warrior princess thing they did made me understand the initial overacting better. To bad she continued like that though but oh well. Not that she was alone oh another ridiculous look I can kill you without looking eyes to the horizon and just sloppy action scenes. Kind of funny to see what crap the statist do in the background when we are supposed to care about some knight or something dying :)

But well I can´t say I wasn´t entertained so I give it 5/10.
