The site wasn't allowing me to post links last night so I couldn't post the image. It's the classic 1949 film.

Don't know why I initially thought of Battlefield (Earth).

I haven't seen that one, but from what I've heard it probably wouldn't be anything I want to see lol

I suppose it's due to that water boarding is such an effective torture method. But I suppose knifing the spine or heart would send the wrong cinematic message.

Neither have I, but its reputation or rather, disreputation, is legendary.

I was trying to decide between this one and The Iceman tonight, and for some reason I was more in the mood for a "lighter" flick..so this one got the nod. I have always been a fan of magic, so combine that with the "heist" theme and assemble a cast of some of my favorite actors, and I'm good to go. I really wanted to like this movie more than I did, but it just couldn't quite get there.

"Now You See Me" - 6.5/10

I saw this one in the cinema, it felt a bit forced at times. Like they didn't know what to do, so just looked up a book on the most common plot themes and twists.

Upcoming "Gravity" ( director Alfonso Cuaron)

"The film received a rapturous response at the Venice Film Festival, and James Cameron is one of the film's strongest supporters. "I was stunned, absolutely floored," he tells Variety. "I think it's the best space photography ever done, I think it's the best space film ever done, and it's the movie I've been hungry to see for an awful long time."

It was entertaining.

This is a film I really had no interest in seeing when it came out, but when I learned that Michael Shannon had a supporting role I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did, cause it was a very solid film and the acting was tremendous. Michael Shannon was fantastic, as always, even though his role was relatively small. Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet were pretty amazing.

"Revolutionary Road" - 8.2/10

I loved that movie, especially Michael Shannons performance.
