Yes, there are some good action scenes, but after you've seen a film that has all four elements working for it (or at least 2 of them for crying out loud), a film like this is a complete waste of two hours. I would rather see The English Patient.

LOL. Tell us how you really feel...

God Day to Die Hard is far from a Die Hard film. It's like calling Kingdom of the Crystal Skull an Indiana Jone's film.

Somewhat, but it has all the elements of a Die Hard film. It's always 'merica vs not 'mercia, it's always poorly written, and mostly badly acted.

That's exactly what I expected when I went to see it, and I wasn't disappointed. They're popcorn crunchin' movies.

Gibson. I found it hard to believe that Mad Max made The Passion. But yeah Cruise too.

"Ben-Hur" [10/10]: I watch this movie about once a year. I am always amazed at how I enjoy it each time. Amazing story/film when one realizes that the original story was written by a Civil War General. What a great movie!

FX was showing the highly censored version today. The censored language was almost as "freakin" funny as the movie.

I have the movie on Blu-Ray and the language is very salty.  The movie I would give 8/10.  Robert Downey Jr. has never been better.  This is one hilarious comedy lampooning  Apocalypse Now  and several other Vietnam era films.  Ben Stiller channeling Sean Penn as "Stupid Jack" was, given your point of view, the high point or the low point of the film.  This movie is sure to offend many, but I would strongly recommend it.

Tom Cruise was best in Tropic Thunder :)

I thought Cruise was great in Magnolia. "Respect the ****!" His character was like a parody of every role he ever had up to that point.

Pontypool- well done zombie flick with a radio disc jockey as the lead, novel method of viral infection that Head-Fi people may find interesting and some good performances.

Worth a look on Netflix or Amazon Prime streaming.

The Impossible: One of the best movies of this year, very scary and depressing though, really reminds you that you are just a human, 9/10.
