Ya but watch it anyway. It's been a while since I saw it but I seem to remember it not ranking up there on the same level as some of the other ones.

HOpefully he was driving a German/Austrian BEAUTY! Audi? BMW? Mercedes?  I"m guessing black in color? lol

Transporter 3 he drives.......... Audi A8... Also in Transporter 2 an audi (the first one was a 7 series BMW but who's paying attention)

He was driving the identical A8 except in charcoal grey irl.

BTW, if you haven't seen SAFE yet, that is definitely better than Blitz IMO.

Heck yeah, I loved Safe. The only film of his I didn't care for much was Killer Elite. It wasn't terrible, but hell, when you put DeNiro, Statham, and Clive Owen in the same movie, you sort of have high expectations. It was okay, but fell well short of what I expected.

I love that he was driving that...my dream car is an Audi A4. One of the best combinations of class, style, and sport. In black, of course. I could be very happy in one of those!

COMPLETELY agree on Killer Elite. Word for word ^

I'm a sucker for the over-the-top Crank movies...still waiting for Crank 3.

Stay away from Revolver, though. Loved Snatch, love Guy Ritchie (most times) but man, Revolver was ****** terrible.

DeNiro movies used to be a real event for me...not sure what he's thinking as of late, but his choices have been AWFUL. Back in the 80s and 90s, he had an on-screen presence that was just off the charts. Heat, The Untouchables, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, etc, etc. The guy just owned it. Even when he dabbled with a lighter role like in Analyze This or Meet the Parents, he was still money. But wow, over the last ten years it's been a huge string of CRAP!  It's really a shame. I think Freelancers ranks up there on my worst of all time list, not just for DeNiro, but of ALL films. Really disappointing.

Dxanex Thanks for the tip....I have Revolver in my queue, I think...I'll hold off on that one if it's that bad. Agree about the crank films....love that franchise, and of course the Transporter films I've seen several times each...and The Expendables...I think you guys have me realizing that he's one of my favorite actors lol

Just caught Life of Pi. This film is nothing short of amazing.

As much as the visuals were stunning, it was the story, and the telling of which that earned most of my points.

The film was thought provoking and had just the right amount of darkness to it, such that it remained believable.

9.6/10.

I'm now off to read the book.

Time is flying for me, and I'm well under 30. John Mayer's Stop This Train describes the way I feel

I have the Continuum album but never heard that song until you just mentioned it. I listened on my MOG app and yeah, good tune!

Amazing how good John Mayer albums sound in MP3 format...damn near as good as my lossless version. Whoever mixed this album is a genius...the instrumental separation is amazing. Vocals are dead smack in the center and evenly presented. Really nicely recorded album.

Amazing, isn't it? Honestly, if I hadn't gotten a LOT done in my younger years, including a whole lot of hell raising and fun, I would probably be depressed as hell now that I've hit 40 lol. Hopefully many years to go, but the best advice I could ever give a young person is to LIVE. I have some friends who are my same age, but who were very unadventurous and even sheltered growing up. Two of them have never even had a serious relationship....and there is no reason at all why they couldn't have. I consider that a real shame, personally. Life doesn't wait on anyone...that's pretty obvious to me by now! Like Nike used to say....just DO it, man.
