Well it is on Netflix. Listen to it with your best audio rig. It's worth it.

Heck yeah....can't wait :)  I've enjoyed most of Val Kilmer's films, so looking forward to seeing this one finally. I know I've MEANT to see it for the longest time, but never actually pulled the trigger.

Mission Impossible: Ghost protocol

What a train wreck. It almost feels more like Naked Gun 4 rather then a MI sequel. I guess it´s what happen when you schedule sequels before you have a script. Nothing works.

Watched the first 5 maybe 10 minutes, then decided wasn't worth my time.

Strange, I thought it was as good as part 3. Not a fan of parts 1 and 2 at all. Did you like any of the other Mission Impossible movies? Sure, it's not much more than a popcorn flick, but I enjoyed it.

BTW who the heck watches a movie for 5-10 minutes and then turns it off? Some of the best movies ever made aren't that good until after the first 45 minutes (Samurai Rebellion is a good example)

I have to agree on both counts. I've seen films that started off pretty slowly and then really become engaging later on, just as I've seen movies that were amazing in the very beginning but then became super lame. I don't think anyone can properly gauge a film by watching for 5 minutes.

True 5-10 minutes don´t say much but if you can´t even manage a good set piece as a beginning for a Mission impossible film...

I am no huge fan of the movies. The tv-series had more charm but was just a kid back then though. But certainly the first three offered more entertainment to me at the time and didn´t have such gaping plot holes and awful attempts at humour that falls flat to me.

Brings a lot of awareness to an awful situation that is still horribly out of control today, but as a film it was just "ok". I didn't find it all that engaging during some long stretches and I think that Michael Shannon was not used to his potential at all. I'd probably give it about a 6.8/10.

New/future Soderbergh movie, 8.8/10.  Can't say more, NDA.  wink.gif  Favorite Soder movie since the Limey.

Just watched "Cabin in the Woods".  I would rate it at least 7 / 10.  Acting was a bit off.  I had not read anything about the movie, so I did not know what to expect. When I figured out what was going on, little bit into the movie, wow I was shocked.  I did not expect that.  What an interestingly odd concept.  I am afraid to say much more about it without potentially giving away any of the plot to any who have not seen it.  It felt quick though, it really just kept moving almost to a fault.  Think they could have slowed it down a bit, even extended the movie some to add some more flavor and details.  This movie is definitely worth a watch.

World at War - 10/10

One of the best WWII documentaries i've seen. You probably won't be the same after watching this.

Started it in 2006 and got halfway through. It really stuck in my head. I finally finished it this week. It's 22 hours long!

I'd say it's tied with "WWII in HD" as a favorite.

Only negative is the sound is horrible. You really need headphones to understand the dialogue. Very muffled at times.

To think they even released a blu-ray version of this! It's only from 1974 too.
