SOLD!

The mods I've done are:

Remote mounted the power supply in a die cast Hammond enclosure, with an IEC inlet. Also replaced the electrolytic cap's with Pana. FC's. Power switch has a green dot illumination.
Bypassed the output stage through 3.3uF Clarity Cap audio grade cap's with Vampire CCC wire.
Installed a remote control sensor into the right hand memory card slot.

Pix.

I'm not including a power cord.I am, of course, including the small remote control.
I'll also include one standard controller.

I'm asking $45 plus shipping. CONUS only. PM me if interested. Thanx.

that is awesome. i want it

but why did you remove the rca inputs and the spikes?? can you add them back for an extra cost? and is this the SCPH-1001 version?

Yes, it's the SCPH-1001. Replacing the spikes ($19 list) and the RCA's (around $10 list) would probably make it more expensive than most folks would be willing to pay for it.

Wow, what is the point in the big black caps?

I never owned a PS1, but i guess it can play CD's, and the caps improve the SQ?

And wow, i swear they never needed a big power brick!?
