IC: AT L-3000s aka Leatherheads SOLD

I am not even sure I want to do this but I have hit a financial pothole and need to raise some cash. Up for interest is a pair of the famed leatherheads that have been recabled by none other than AkZip in the V2 cable. They are terminated balanced (2 xlr) but also have a adaptor that AkZip made to go from balanced to standard 1/4inch cable. They come with an additional set of pads as well. I have the original box and the bag for the headphones and cable. Oh also included is the original cable just in case you ever wanted to put it back on although I can't see a reason to do this.

To put people in the right ballpark I am only looking at offers north of $2000.
The past few have sold for $2200 with stock cable. I'll get pictures up in a day or so.

Note: I am not sure which pair this is in the link, but all the L3000's I have recabled have all been in fantastic condition so you can't go wrong!

I just planned to set aside funds for the HD-2, and now you come up with this...... what a bad timing (to me). Got to let go this time.

The L3000 pads is still available at AudioCubes.

Suggest to grab a pair while it is still available. I did.

Traded to me for HP-2s and some cash. I was dumb enough to sell my first pair of L3000s last year, let's hope I've learned my lesson!
