The ultimate tube power amplifer for $11,000 (used)

Thread Starter
Just came across this ad on audiogon for what appears to be the ultimate tube power amplifier which originally sold for $22,000 and is being offered for sale for $11,000 after 9 months!

Check out this link and drool (like I did):-

http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.p...0773290&2&3&4&

p.s. I really dig those 4 output tubes with horns at the top (they're actually 6C33C-B tubes)...never seen anything like them before.

I'm holding out for a Wavac or Border Patrol amp...

There is my down payment for the house I want to buy.

$11K and 180lbs. Now THAT'S one serious tube amp. 75wpc, whew, that's a lot of power. No need for super high effeciency speakers for this thing.

Please don't notify Joelongwood about this incredible deal. And while you're at it, Hirsch either.

Yeah those "nipple tubes" are cool.

The Graaf GM20 OTL (20Wpc) uses them too...

I rather have a couple of these little guys:

About $40,000.00 for the pair, not bad.

Oh, I would need to contact the electricity Edison Company to get an extra line for a dedicated power supply.
