I decided to send my RA-1 to Grado for the AC conversion a week ago,and was wondering if anyone has had it done, and how the results were?Guess I will find out soon enough, but my patients aren't one of my strengths

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide to send yours out for the conversion? Or is this more like a necessity for you?

I won't send mine in...batteries will inevitably result in cleaner power and if the battery can supply enough juice...I say keep it that way. Of course...having the AC option would be cool...batteries cost and I have not yet received my Plainview (of course, I have not yet ordered them either

Good luck with the upgrade! I hope it works well.
