Just curiosity, but the switch at the back grounds out the cold (-) side of the inputs when using single ended (rca)??

I can see what you mean about the stock T1 vs T1W. With all that extra switching gear , wiring, and baby boards, on the T1W it's no wonder...

Steen.
I could have sworn I replied to this yesterday...

The switch grounds the cold side as is most always done. It's a whole lot better way then the small jumper many manufacturers used.

There is a lot of extra stuff in the T1W and some nice extra features. The variable bias is one of the best IMHO.

Let me know how the soldering went.

Element bias. The amplifier bias can be adjusted on all of the models though
