expensive parking? oh wait.. that's all of sydney lol seriously tho, i was about to put an ad out for k240 pads when i find out AKG distribution is in Northridge California, and guess where i go to school? lol almost a d'oh moment there too

Dolby labs, large scale PA/theater division used to be in south SF. I had a job offer there, to be a field technician, fresh out of college. In hind-sight I should have taken them up on it, could have opened a lot of doors for me in the industry.

Anything near where I live..? Its close to Irvine, CA. I swear I saw a Cowon building somewhere around there. But i think it was about 30 mins away from my place.

No, I meant headphone manufacturers, not audio companies, we have tons of them here, but no headphone makers.

Nope... no headphone designers/companies near us, that at least I am aware of. HOWEVER... the basic physics and principles are somewhat similar. I imagine some experience in a relevant sound reproduction field could open doors into another field (IE=headphones).
