Unpack the eXemplar Denon 2900 that I bought from jp#'s and give it a good listen! Wait, I'm going to do that anyway. Well I still would have!

I'd find a good vantage point to watch the impact. Think about it' - it'll be a sight like no one has ever seen.

The stress caused by the impending doom would bring out my latent omnipotence and I would bend the world around me like Neo in the Matrix. At this point it would be a simple matter of bending space in front of the asteroid to divert it. Either that or just summon holy at the last minute and use the life stream to destroy it.

As the above indicates, panic and denial would abound and I would probably waste the time worrying about the fact that I don't know what happens after death and that theres nothing I can do to change it.

Also, this is the most depressing thread ever.

Not really, I would take comfort in the fact that I won't be dying alone.

It's also interesting to read what other people would do with their last hour of life. What's/Whose most important to you? Would you panic? Go out partying?

Yes, I agree. I kind of like the thought of going with everyone else. I also like the idea of not ever having to worry about losing my family, my friends, and my beloved cat

And yes - it is very interesting to read what other people would do. There are some very amusing answers, as well as some more serious ones, and um, one questionable one so far

And while it's nice to have the 'time' to ponder how we'd spend our last moments - the reality is we wouldn't have any time to think. We'd get the news, and that would be it - the 60 minutes starts from that point. . .

Mind you, now we've all had time to 'plan' our last hour, at least we won't have to waste time doing it when the time comes . . . that must have saved us a few valuable minutes

Me too. While waiting for the big bang, I'd - as an act of defiance - read aloud the second metaphysical meditation by Descartes (the 'cogito ergo sum' thingy), then have a quick prayer to settle things with God (just in case) and finally prepare to enjoy the spectacle.

I would go onto the field lay down put my sunglasses on and watch the view and make a picture of it comin!!! lol only kiddin...tbh i dont know what i will do, maybe call all my friends n family for about 30 min then i will probably listen to some music and try to relax...but how!!!??? lol
