I think the second one looks better (certainly closer to the original Grado box) but the foam insert looks a little tacky. Would probably need to do some finishing to it, or see an upholsterer.

How much is that 2nd one? If I missed it then sorry I think it would be great! $2 for any color stain you want and it would be beautiful. Imitating the interior on the first box wouldn't cost much either. I want one, but my headphones mostly spend their time on the stand. Still cool
