With all the back-and-forth over sound improvements gained from cable/component synergies, I fear we have all overlooked the obvious weak link in the chain...our own hearing!
"Yes!", you say "...but what can I, an obsessed tweaker, do to improve my hearing?". "What tweaks can I employ to inch closer to absolute sound?"
Last night - after washing a couple vicoden down with a shot of Milagro - it came to me in a flash!
Cryo Irrigation (I call it "Cryo Earigation")
That's right! ...Just bend over, tilt your head and have a fellow audiophile pour some liquid nitrogen in your ear canal. This process will re-align the molecular structure of your eardrum, nerve endings, etc... and is "guarenteed" to
totally eliminate "ALL" background noise that haunts the listening experience. In fact, I would be so bold as to proclaim there is not a cable nor power conditioning device available - at any price - that will reduce unwanted background noise as effectively as Cryo Earigation!!!
Don't forget to bend over before attempting Cryo Earigation as success is dependent on correct orientation of ear canal relative to the directional flow of liquid nitrogen applied during the process
