Best RCA to mini-jack cable?

Hi everyone!

I'd like to connect my portable Minidisc player to my future Musical Fidelity X-Can V2 headphone amp.

Wich cable to choose? I though about the
Monster 400 MKII, seems to be good. And the price is what I
wanted to spend, about 30€/$.

Do you know other similar products ? ? ?

Thanks a lot, all the best,

Sandro.

Check out www.zucable.com , they have a mini to rca. If you look on eBay, they are selling their cables for much cheaper than their website.

After seeing this thread .I contacted Adam at zu cable and ordered a 1 foot pivot mini-rca cable. Has anyone heard these cables? If so any comparisons to other cables ,kimber, jmt or any others.

The mini-rca in brand new.

I've read very good reviews of their Oxyfuel cables in other threads. I'll probably pick up a pair soon.

got the pivot yesterday , sleek looking cable too.
i got nothing to compare it to but i did some experimentation:
i am just an audio enthusiast / not an audiophile , and these are just my opinion on my short observation between these cables.

i used my pcdp sony D2 , line out , 9v power adapter
HD 575
porta corda 2 , 9v battery new.

compared the stock oehlbach mini to mini , and the zu pivot 1.5 meter and i terminated the RCA part of the zu pivot with a ratshack mini to female RCA adapter to get a mini termination frm the other end of the zu pivot.

i used only 2 songs:
steely dan 2 against nature , track 4 , 0-25 seconds only
dave matthews band - crash ,track 6 0-25 seconds only
(i use 0-25 seconds so i can have a good memory of the songs, instruments and passages )

i find the zu cable full , richer in sound , has more midbass .

to give you a comparison - figure wise:
id say the stock porta corda cables are 80-85%, the zu will be 100%
